WHO WE ARE
Here at We Breastfeed NENC, we support all families in their journey through breastfeeding. Our core belief is that with the support of the community and family, everyone can breastfeed. We provide this support through La Leche League meetings and 1:1 guidance from LLL leaders and breastfeeding professionals, as well as through the collaborative work of our partners in NE NC to make all communities breastfeeding friendly. However this support looks - we are here for YOU.
ERIN CRITES
Erin's passion for breastfeeding and supporting mothers began we she herself became a mother in 2018. She moved back to her hometown of Elizabeth City and found herself without the support she was used to in Raleigh. She set out to bring all the things she loved about her postpartum to NE NC, and this led her to become a La Leche League leader. Erin is also the Regional Parent Liaison for the North Carolina Breastfeeding Coalition, and actively works in the community and region to bring resources to all families.
When not advocating for maternal health and rights, she enjoys spending weekends outdoors with her toddler.
